This easy mix makes perfectly moist, light cornbread with just a touch of sweetness, making it close in flavour to Southern cornbread. Specially designed for those sensitive to wheat or gluten, this mix contains whole grain cornmeal, potato starch, whole grain sorghum flour, cane sugar, whole grain corn flour, tapioca flour, baking powder, sea salt and xanthan gum. Stone ground, whole grain yellow cornmeal and sorghum impart an unmatched flavour and texture you’ll love. This cornbread is a wonderful companion to a steaming cup of soup or chilli. If you’re feeling adventurous, try making our Gluten Free Cornbread in a well-seasoned cast iron skillet and add a diced jalapeño and some jack cheese. Directions: This packet of cornbread mix requires 1 1/2 cups of milk, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup of melted butter or flavourless oil. 1 packet makes either one 9x9 inch pan or 12 muffins.
